The age of loving empowerment is an age in which we empower each other - rather than seek power over each other - because we have learned that being in favor of self (self-empowerment) and being in favor of other go together and can’t not.
Our empowerment takes a step further with the opening up to love. Loving empowerment is, in essence, compassion. If the first type of empowerment — the individual empowerment — is masculine, this one is feminine. It cuddles and cradles, welcomes and embraces, meets and listens with an open heart to the needs of those aspect of us we find most repulsive and unacceptable.
It is unconditional love, bringing back home an aspect that lost its way and forgot its Divine Nature.
The book is divided into 2 parts, the first dealing with a more masculine empowerment and the second with the feminine empowerment. If we are to stop with the first, we will end up completely independent, autonomous and sovereign — but also disconnected. The second stage of loving empowerment is where the empowered individual — now on their true path and expressing her or his passion — reconnects with the Oneness and through love finds true, open and intimate connection with others.
There are different types of awakening, and I speak of 3 (see page Sun Ray Teaching). It is crucial not to get stuck in any one of them. If we get stuck in the non-dual awakening, for example, often what happens is disconnection, for our approach is dissociative. While a person who has had a genuine non-dual awakening may speak about Oneness, their experience may actually be very lonely. Loneliness is the epitome of separation. Connection is the sign of true love and Oneness, for in connection there is no judgment and pushing away. That which we love, we connect with. Unconditional love, embracing every aspect that exists, is the awakening that we work toward on the path of integration. In this awakening we incude ourself, as we are, in The Divine, forever curing the illusion of ever having been cast out of Eden, abandoned — or excluded — by The Divine. We are Home, and Home is Everywhere.
